Feasibility study
After a briefing meeting with our client and the functional specification for the product is generated, we explore manufacturing concepts, functionality targets, environmental and cost options that align with your goals and market needs.
concept design
Using SolidWorks 3d CAD tools and 3d printing, we develop CAD and physical models that demonstrate functionality, style, manufacturing concept and the look and feel of the product.
detailed design
We develop the design concept into a detailed design for manufacture. We analise fits between components, suitability of materials and detailed manufacturing drawings / specifications are created. We liaise with suppliers to optomise designs for lean manufacture and finalise costs.
prototype and test
A final prototype is produced and the design developed further if needed. We then perform studies and tests to ensure the product is fit for its end use and transportation methods. Data is released for manufacture.
